Serving Platter by Noritake
Platter is 12 1/4” wide and 16 1/2” long
We have been unsuccessful in our search to identify the correct pattern. It is similar to the Noritake “Noreen” pattern.
The identification on the bottom dates this piece between 1947 and 1949. Mark “Komaru” (overcoming difficulties) symbol crowned by “Noritake” in handwritten logotype format and below “Made In Japan”. This mark seems to have been in use 1947-1949.
This piece is in excellent condition. No scratches, chips or crazing. There are no signs of wear.
