Vintage pair of Zillertal plastic dolls, each approximately 10½ inches tall and marked Made in Austria.
Both dolls retain their original manufacturer’s tags on their arms. They have swivel heads, opening and closing eyes, and movable arms and legs. One doll is mechanically functional, with the head and other moving features operating as expected.
The second doll has a loose head. The head remains attached, but it does not fit as securely as the head on the first doll. We have not attempted to repair or adjust it.
Both dolls have an attractive traditional Austrian appearance and are suitable for display. They show signs consistent with extended storage, but their overall presentation remains good.
The dolls are being sold together as a pair. The exact manufacturer and production date have not been established.
